Frequently Asked Questions
How long have you been doing this kind of work?
We have been in business for more than a decade. We specialize in helping authors self-publish, working with experienced
authors as well as guiding new authors through their first publishing experience.
We are also active with the academic community, publishing research papers and writings of university scholars. Several
academic journals are regularly formatted and published through us.
What type of services do you provide?
We provide a professional layout for the book including: formatting interior text and content, headings, footers, font size and
style, and developing a full-color cover design. We provide an ISBN (International Standard Book Number), a listing in R.R.
Bowker's Books in Print, and a bar code.
We read your manuscript and provide fundamental copyediting, correcting basic spelling and punctuation errors.
What is the cost to publish my book?
One size doesn't fit all. Our service is personalized. It is absolutely essential to discuss your book with us in detail. Once an
understanding of what you have and what you hope to achieve is reached, we will quote you a reasonable price.
How is payment expected?
One third of the cost is expected before work begins on your manuscript. Another third is payable when you return your
corrected proof copy. The remainder is due when the books are completed.
What is a proof copy?
Once formated, your manuscript is printed and a "proof" copy is given to you to review. It is a way to ensure that everything is
exactly the way you want it before your book is actually printed.
How long will it take to actually complete my book?
Although books have been completed faster, it usually takes 3 to 6 months to actually have the finished book in your hands.
Much depends upon how prepared you are to begin with and how efficiently you provide needed information and corrections.
